On board

Built for the space and the sea state.

Menus that work in a small galley, on a rolling anchor, with the provisions that were actually available at the dock. Nothing on the plate that needs a walk-in or a second pair of hands.

Owner trips get the food the owner asks for. Charters get food that photographs well, comes out on time, and keeps guests happy for a week.

  • Owner trips and charter itineraries, three days to three weeks
  • Provisioning lists built around the galley and the route
  • Breakfast through dinner, plus crew meals
  • Dietary restrictions and preferences handled without drama

How it works

From itinerary to anchor.

  1. Step 1: Itinerary

Dates, port, guest count, dietary needs, and how the boat is provisioned today.

  2. Step 2: Provisioning

A list built around the galley, the route and the supplier at the dock. Budget agreed before the trip.

  3. Step 3: On board

Breakfast through dinner, crew meals included, and a galley that is clean at the end of service.

Questions

What captains and brokers ask first.

Anything else, ask on the phone. Send an inquiry and Matt will call.

Owner trip or charter?

Both. Owner trips get exactly what the owner asks for. Charters get food that photographs well, comes out on time and keeps guests happy for a week.

How long can you join for?

A long weekend or a three-week charter. Tell me early for the season — the good weeks go first.

Do you cook for crew?

Yes. Crew meals are part of the job and get planned with the same care as guest meals.

What certification do you carry?

Food-safety certification and travel documents, available on request before you book.

Can you work a small galley?

It is the only kind there is. Menus are written for the equipment on board, not the other way round.

Where the work has been

A boat is a kitchen with worse weather.

Chef on a 121-foot Benetti on charter in the British Virgin Islands, cooking Mediterranean and Asian-influenced menus for owner trips and full charter parties — breakfast through dinner, plus crew.
